Students from grades one to ten can apply for pre-matric scholarships, while students pursuing higher education after their tenth grade can apply for post-matric scholarships. With this platform, every student can apply without any obstacles through a simple application process.
Students of all kinds can benefit from the SSP Scholarship Portal’s welfare areas. The SSP Scholarship provides financial assistance to students whose financial situation makes it difficult for them to fund their education. Its most intriguing feature is that it is open to students from grades 1 through 12 who wish to pursue higher education. Education will now be available to all students in Karnataka, regardless of their socioeconomic status.
Types of SSP Scholarship 2022
Through the SSP scholarship portal, two types of scholarships are available.
Students in grades 1-10 are eligible to apply for the SSP Pre-Matric Scholarship
The SSP Post-Matric Scholarships is open to students who are continuing their education after they have graduated from high school.
Candidates from the OBC, SC, ST, and other categories are eligible for this award. Numerous pre-matriculation and post-matriculation plans are available depending on the category of student.
Scholarships for post-matriculated students are available to the following students:
In the eleventh or twelfth grade
Taking a diploma course at a public or private university
Taking vocational courses at ITIs or technical schools
Features of SSP Scholarship 2022
Through this digitized platform, students can apply for several scholarships simultaneously.
SSP Scholarship funds will be deposited directly into the award recipient’s account.
Karnataka students are the only ones eligible for these scholarships.
This portal offers both pre-matriculation and post-matriculation scholarships.
There is no requirement for students eligible for financial assistance to stop their education because of the financial crisis.
SSB Scholarships are available only to citizens of Karnataka.
SSP Scholarship 2022 – Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for Karnataka-SSP Scholarships, students must meet the following criteria.
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
Candidates must come from economically disadvantaged backgrounds.
An applicant’s household income cannot exceed Rs 1 lakh for a pre-matric scholarship, and Rs 2 lakh for a post-matric scholarship.
Prior examinations must have resulted in at least a 50% score.
SSP Scholarships 2022 – Documents Required
As part of the application process, students are required to submit the following documents.

An Aadhaar card for each student and their parents
